The initial Commercial Company of Salonica was established during the late 19th Century in the city of London, with offices in Salonica which was then part of the Ottoman Empire.
The firm grew out of establishing trading relationships with the Balkans and Anatolia, dealing in primary goods and thereafter diversifying its investment stock.
By the early 20th Century, the Company had played a key role in transforming Salonica into the leading port in the Eastern Mediterranean. This period was characterised by economic prosperity, cultural diversity and communal harmony.
After reviving itself in the early 21st Century, The Salonica Group was able to establish itself as a leading Investment Boutique committed to providing a professional and personal service to its clients. The Salonica Group continues to draw inspiration from its founding fathers, namely the values of diversity, innovation, integrity and connectivity.
